The son of a nurse and a cab driver, Vinoo Varghese got into a lot of fights growing up in Queens, so he learned martial arts to successfully defend himself and others from bullies. Things haven’t changed much for Varghese as he’s still successfully fighting bullies and defending others. As an adult, instead of using his fists, he uses his knowledge, expertise, and connections he has accumulated as a former prosecutor and as a criminal defense attorney to help his clients.

Gregory A. Marshall is a former prosecutor who worked in the Brooklyn DA’s Office from 2005-2010. Afsaan Saleem, Esq., has over 17 years of legal experience as a litigator in New York. Mr. Saleem began his legal career by serving the City of New York as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department for over five years as a litigation attorney in the Brooklyn Torts Office.

Then, as a Senior Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division of the Law Department, Mr. Saleem handled, from inception to trial, dozens of cases in federal court involving false arrest and police and correction officer brutality. Mr. Saleem then switched sides, working for several years in private practice doing plaintiff’s side civil rights and criminal defense.

He left private practice to become the Deputy Director of the Legal Division of the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs where he oversaw a team of nine junior attorneys in conducting administrative trials. Mr. Saleem returned to private practice where he joined a solo practitioner and took over responsibility of the handling of the firm’s civil rights practice.
